Traders said that the price of CIS billet was mainly FOB445-450/ton of the Black Sea, but some suppliers were still increasing, and this week some suppliers offered FOB $460/ton of Black Sea. At the same time, customers believe that the prices in traditional export markets such as Turkey and the Middle East are much lower, about FOB $420-425 per ton. In particular, billet goods from the Commonwealth of Independent States are exported to China at a price of CFR $480 per ton, and if the goods come from Turkey and the Middle East, the price will fall back to a net. FOB $440/ton. On the whole, the rise in raw material costs, especially the price of scrap steel, has also been supporting the rising trend of the billet market.
